If a candidates' names are different on their Class 10 and Class 12 certificates, their certificate will ideally not be cancelled nor will they be rendered ineligible provided they are able to furnish an affidavit reflecting this name change at the time of counselling. However, such candidates are still advised to check the same with CBSE NEET before proceeding.
