Here is the solution of your question.I will be giving answers in 2 methods . One is long method and another one is short one.

Long Method:-

Rama's 1 day work will be = 1/8

Asha's 1 day work will be = 1/14

So, Rama and Asha together's work in 1 day = 1/8 + 1/14 = 11/56

So together they can complete work in 56/11 days .

Short Method:-(Trick)

Days required to work together = (8*14)/(8+14) = 56/11 days .
