I will recommend you to check the cutoff of all the NITs as it is the cutoff that will let you know your admission chances. The minimum marks required to get admission in any institution or course is known as cutoff and it varies from institute to institute, course to course and category to category. 

Suppose you have rank less than the cutoff rank, then your chances of admission will lower down.
