The package doesn't depend on the rank that you secure in KCET entrance examination. You will only get seat in a college based on your rank, category, preferences of college/branch, vacant seats, cut off rank and total number of candidates appeared. After joining in a college you need to study well and maintain minimum 75-80% or above marks throughout the course to apply for on campus or off campus placement. You need to have good academic record, Technical skills, soft skills and Communication skills to get placed in a company. The salary may vary depending on the company, job description, reputation of the company, roles and responsibilities. The salary may vary in between 2 LPA - 10 LPA and it may go beyond that considering the above factors. So once you get admission a college you should aim to score decent percentage and simultaneously prepare yourself for campus placement.
