Sandip University is a state private university and it is not mandatory for the Central, State and Private Universities to take approval of AICTE for Technical Programmes.

Why study in institute  approved

Dear Rashadus

AICTE is for affiliated institutes, not for any university. Sandip University is having a status of state university (private) and does not require any recognition from AICTE. Although all rules and regulations of AICTE are binding for university. However, whenever UGC visits university, a committee from AICTE comes along with them and verify all the infrastructure and faculty for technical courses run by university. In Sandip University, the UGC committee along with AICTE, PCI and BCI has already visited on 19th and 20th May 2018.
