There are approximately 5130 MBBS seats in Maharashtra across all Government and Private Medical Colleges. There is 13% reservation allotted for SEBC Category. This has been reduced from 16% to 13% reservation after the ruling of the Bombay High Court. The Honorable Supreme Court has already uphold the ruling of the Bombay High Court.
