The Gadag district's preliminary list of chosen students for the NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) Exam 2023–24 has been made public.  Included are students from a variety of blocks, including Mundaragi, Ron, Shirhatti, Gadag City, and Gadag Rural.  Notable high scorers from Ron Block include Nirmala Veerappa Kavalur (120), Praveenkumar Irappa Sobagin (116), and Vishwa Ashok Angadi (109). Students from Gadag Rural, such as Suneeta Maruti Halanavar, achieved the highest scores of 105.  The district's excellent academic achievement is highlighted in the list.
