Hello,

IIT Madras is one of the oldest and the most reputed college. It has a very strong alumni network and faculty support and it is better than IIT Indore.
So, i would suggest you to go for chemical engineering in IIT Madras. You will also have to option for placements in companies other than those who offer jobs to chemical engineers.
IIT Madras is ranked 1 in NIRF ranking and IIT Indore is ranked 10th, now you can decide.

I hope this helps.

Hi Sujay,

It depends on your interest in the branches in which you want to pursue engineering. In terms of placement statistics, Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras is the better option than the Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore.

But for the more extended aspects, due to the core branch, EEE at IIT Indore is the better option.

All the best.
