Hey Shaswat!

Well you have asked a very subjective question. To drop or not depends a lot on how you see yourself down the year preparing for CLAT 2020. If you think you can give yourself a second chance and you will utilise it to the fullest and get the top law colleges, then very well go ahead and take a drop. But i must tell you a year dropped brings way too many responsibilities as well. You will be expected to score more than last time, so many hopes will be pinned uo on you etc. But its all worthwhile only if you are sure of cracking this exam with better marks next year.

If however you are not, then no need to take a drop. Get into any NLU that you receive shortlist from and focus on giving your best to the next 5 years of your life. The syllabus is not very vast in the first year so if you like so, prepare for CLAT 2020 simultaneously and shift to a better college next year. God forbid even if you dont next year, you will still be in a law school.

Good Luck. Hope it helps.
