Yes you should drop biology if you want to prepare for IIT. Because in IIT exam you need only PCM. So there is no role of Biology in IIT exam.But if you find interest in biology than you can also pursue it parallel with PCM. But it's only increase your knowledge.it won't help you in IIT exam.

Yes you should drop bio if you are a jee aspirant , you should opt mathematics that would be most helpful since bio is of no use in jee mains

I am also jee aspirant and I am appearing this year boards as well .I too have maths with bio so you must select any other subject like physical education or else it will give you sufficient time for your preparation for jee
