As per your query , I would glad to inform you that   in my opnion if you are getting decent college for B.E then go only for B.E as their are only very different subjects in BE as compared to BTECH . I always say go college over anything as last placement matters only on your skills if you are colleges is inviting big companies

see b.e or b.tech has the same weightage, its just the abbreviation decided from the university. so just select college based on placement, quality of education, students review, college facility.

so my suggestion is if you get a tier 1 institute for b.tech / b.e just go for it.
