Yes, after passing the jee advance and being accepted into one of the iit's, you must pay the same costs as a regular college to study at a iit. Tuition fee waivers are available for students from low-income families, as well as students from the obc, sc, and st categories. Students in the general category, on the other hand, must pay the entire fee.

Dear student,
Yes, after you qualify jee advance and get admission in one of the iit's, then as a normal college would charge fees, you have to also pay the fees to study at an iit. However there are tuition fee waivers for students whose family income is low and also for obc, sc and st category students. While the general category students have to pay the complete fees. Students also take up education loans to pay their fees. B. Tech at an iit would cost cost a general student around 1.5-2 lakhs per annum.
