184 is a decent marks you have got good NITs easily.

why you have not taken admision?

Yes, you can repeat JEE but try to take admission in top NITs or IITs. so, that its add value if you are dropping a year.

184 is not a bad score as chances should be there in lower and average NITs but if your desire is top NITs then better to get 220-250 for top branches like CS, ME, ECE,EE etc so you should repeat it again to get the required score.
