Yes you should prepare for boards as well as JEE simultaneously.

Hello student,

Yes, If you want to go for jee after 12th then it will be beneficial for you to start as early as possible.

You can prepare for it by your own i.e through self study or you can join some coaching for prepreation. As there are lots of coaching  institute available in market which provide 2 year course prepreation for student of +1.
