The AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) is no longer conducted separately. Admission to veterinary courses in India such as BVSc & AH is now done through the NEET UG exam.
If you are interested in applying for a veterinary course:
1. Appear for NEET UG : Ensure you have a valid NEET score as it is the basis for admissions to veterinary courses .
2. Participate in the Veterinary Counseling Process :
The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts 15% All India Quota counseling for BVSc & AH courses .
The remaining 85% seats are filled by respective state counseling authorities .
NEET 2025 Application : Starts February 2025 (tentative) .
NEET Exam Date : May 4, 2025 (tentative) .
