The AIPVT (All India Pre-Veterinary Test) is no longer conducted separately. Admission to veterinary courses in India such as BVSc & AH is now done through the NEET UG exam.

If you are interested in applying for a veterinary course:

1. Appear for NEET UG : Ensure you have a valid NEET score as it is the basis for admissions to veterinary courses .

2. Participate in the Veterinary Counseling Process :

The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts 15% All India Quota counseling for BVSc & AH courses .

The remaining 85% seats are filled by respective state counseling authorities .

NEET 2025 Application : Starts February 2025 (tentative) .

NEET Exam Date : May 4, 2025 (tentative) .

Admissions in veterinary courses are now carried out through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). For veterinary course admissions, you should complete the NEET application form.

Application Schedule:

• NEET 2025 Application Form Release Date : It will be released in the first week of February 2025.
• Last Date to Submit Application : The submission date will be in the first week of March 2025.

How to Apply:

1. Registration : Register with the official NEET portal and provide personal details such as name, parent's name, gender, email ID, phone number, and address.
2. Application Form : Fill up the application with the details of educational qualification and other required information
3. Document Uploa d: Upload mandatory documents such as a passport size photograph, signature and other certificates in the prescribed formats.
4. Application Fee: Pay using debit/credit card and net banking. The category-wise application fee is:

• General: 1700
• General - EWS/OBC- N CL: 1600
• SC/ST/PwD/ Third Gender : 1000

Confirmation: Once a payment is made, get the form submitted and a confirmation page printed.
