Bihar Combined Engineering Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released a notification stating that from now onadmissions toengineering colleges in Bihar state will be done on basis of JEE Main 2019 Scores.
BCECE Boardhad earlier reported that it will be conductingBCECE 2019in Computer-based test mode for admissions to UG courses at Bihar Engineering Colleges. But now, candidates who have appeared or will be appearing forJEE Main 2019can participate in BCECE Counselling 2019 directly for admissions to Engineering Colleges in Bihar state.
BCECE 2019 scrapped,no separate examinationfor admission to UG engineering or medical courses in Bihar State Engineering Colleges and Medical Colleges.

Candidates who only wanted to appear in BCECE 2019 which is a state level entrance test will now have to appear for JEE Main 2019 which is a national level entrance exam and has high competition among JEE aspirants..
So if you have not appeared for Jee main 2019 , then you are not eligible for BCECE counseling.
