Hey Krishang,

Congratulations for getting such great marks! I'm pretty sure you'll get a government college in Punjab through state quota with such marks. Since, Punjab has around 900 seats for MBBS and 970 seats for BDS, you have a good chance of getting one!

Dear Krishna, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverhless, 566 is a good score. In 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

General Category: 518
OBC: 470
SC: 353

Goimg by the.previous cut offs and your scores, you have a chance at:

Government Medical College, Amritsar
Government Medical College, Patiala
Guru Gobind Singh Medical College

Having said that cut off changes every year and is dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Meanwhile, please visit this page to check the cut offs for each of the above mentioned colleges:

Mam i am from general category and and also the paper was easy as many students are gett good marks so i am tensed if i would get  a government mbbs seat or not and moreover I committed 6 silly mistakes in exam thereby losing 30 marks

Cut offs keep changing every year. But based on the previous trends, you will get a seat.

Congratulations on your result  !
According to the last year's cut off for Punjab in state quota , you can get a seat in government colleges.

Hello Krishang , Still cut offs for this year has not released yet so you can make prediction on basis of last year cut off. As per the last year cut off students with 530+ marks got government college in state quota. So for you it has a good chance to get seat in government college with state quota.
