Believe me, it's a bit easier on you now. When I gave the Jee last year, Board marks were counted too for Mains. So, we had to manage between both the preparations compulsorily. Board marks, apart from the 75% eligibility has no direct impact on Jee Advanced.
So, I assume you wish to score great in Boards because you want a good, untainted academic record. Well, I managed to score 94% in Maharashtra State board in HSC. But that was not because of being regular in board studies, rather being regular with your Jee preparations. You can cover the board syllabus in last 2 months like I did, and come out with flying colours. And if you are preparing for Advanced, I would advise not to pay much attention on Boards for now.
I don’t know which board are you from, but if it’s CBSE, it’s a tad easy as you’ll anyway study Ncert for Mains. If you are from a State board, you still will have much ease on getting the concepts easily because of your Jee preparations. So don’t think about ‘managing’ boards for now, save that for later. Getting a wonderful AIR gives much more pleasure rather than scoring very high in Boards. Think of what matters in the long run, and prioritize accordingly. All the best!
