Hey,

CEE Kerala releases the merit rank list according to the marks obtained in NEET.

Previously, the ranks vs percentile was as follows:

  • General category- 50 percentile means a score between 150-700 out of 720.
  • ST/SC/OBC- 40 percentile means a score around 130-150.
  • General PH- 45 percentile means a score of 120-130.

Now, the rank varies as follows:

  • The rank is usually given as per the marks obtained. Incase any students get same scores than, they will be ranked as follows;
  • The candidate scoring higher in biology will be considered for better rank.
  • If the tie is still there , than the candidate getting higher marks in chemistry will be considered.
  • The third tie breaker is that the candidate with less number of incorrect questions will be ranked higher.
  • The last criteria is age. The candidate who is elder in age will be given better rank.
