No, you are not eligible for CA CPT But you can give CA Entry Level Exam( intermediate course) which means you will directly be eligible to give IPCC Paper if you satisfy the below Criteria-

1. Have completed graduation or post graduation in Commerce stream with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects or its equivalent from a state or nationally recognised university including open universities are exempted from CA CPT. 

2. Candidates holding UG/PG degree in a stream other than Commerce with at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from recognised University (including Open University) are exempted from CA CPT exam.

Yes students from all strems are eligible for CA CPt exam. 

However candidates need to register with ICAI before June30, 2017 for attempting in 2018.
