Hi,

For joining Group Y as an Airmen, candidates need to have passed class 12 form any stream i.e. Science, Commerce or Arts with an aggregate percentage of 50% and 50% marks in English.

However, for joining Medical Assistance Trade under Group Y candidates need to have compulsorily Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English with an aggregate 50% and 50% in English.

For others, you can go with any stream and you just needs to be pass. Having Mathematics not cleared is not an issue. Only English is compulsory.

Before moving further, you must know that the Indian Air Force is classified into three main parts namely Flying branch, Technical branch and Ground branch/ staff.

NDA exam is conducted twice a year in two stages - written test and SSB Interview.

• must have cleared 12th with mathematics and physics as main subjects.
• You should be between 16½-19 years at the time of filling the application form.
• You should be medically and physically fit.
• Minimum of 50% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level.

So if you satisfy this criteria you are eligible.
