It doesn't matter even if you are in bsc, after qualifying jee main examination, you can get admission in NIT if you get a seat in the counselling or others college as well.

If I tell you about percentile required to get an NIT then,

Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for general category  :-

• National Institute of Technology Sikkim, Civil Engineering :- 47412

• National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, Civil Engineering:- 49757

  Recommended

• National Institute of Technology Agartala, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering :- 50,010

From above, it is clear that you need at least a rank of around 45,000 - 50,000 to get into an NIT .And to get a rank in this range, you need at atleast around 96 percentile  as per our rank predictor at
