A part of your question is not clear.What kind of mails have your friends received?You will receive mail when you first apply giving the application number and other details.After that you will receive mail regarding the status of your application whether it is in correct order or not.If your application isn't in right order you will be asked to correct it at the time of correction which is already over.Apart from this you won't receive any emails even if you receive they are not sent by IIT Delhi officials.They maybe phishing emails.You might have already received a mail regarding the fake emails sent.You can check your spam incase if you have missed any of the emails sent by GATE 2020.
