As per the eligibility criteria set by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, NEET qualified aspirants who belong to Uttar Pradesh but who have not completed their schooling in Uttar Pradesh and are seeking admissions to 85% State Quota seats in the state’s Government Medical Colleges will be required to produce an ‘Original Resident Certificate’ in the format given in the UP NEET Prospectus when applying for admissions. So if you are currently residing in Jammu and Kashmir but want to apply for admissions in Uttar Pradesh, you should fill the online application form released by the DMET after declaration of NEET results and submit an address located in Uttar Pradesh for the same. You will be required to produce the Original Resident Certificate confirming this address at the time of document verification.
