JEE mains provides the applicant with two ranks- one is the category rank(which in your case is EWS rank) and the other is the CRL rank which considers all the students who have given the exam.The EWS rank only considers the students who are in EWS category.Gor JOSAA counselling your EWS rank will be taken into consideration to allot you a seat.I hope I have clarified your doubts.Best of luck.
