Every college has its own criteria and procedure.In some colleges work experience,past academics,achievements are important but in some colleges mentioned factors don't hold importance.So it depend on which college and course you wish to opt for.Some college accept gre/gmat/ielts exam or all of three.You have done through distance learning but  there are also university that accept only students that have done graduation through proper college.Reputed colleges have stringent procedure and rule.There are also college that will give you admission without any restriction.Be aware of such college,most of them are swindle.So choose wisely.If you zero on any college I will guide you.Hope I cleared your doubt.All the best for future!!
