Hello,
IIT takes candidates you have cleared JEE Advance and NIT takes candidates who have rank below than 3000. And there are very less NITs in India.
So you can see the competition and you won't get an admission there.
You have to look for your state level government colleges or private colleges.
You can apply through counseling and get one for you. If there is any state quota then that will help you to take an admission.
You can go for private college. They also provide quality education and scope for students to show case their skills.

If your category rank is 11000 then you won't get a seat in IITs, but if your All India Rank is 11k then you will get a seat for sure.
