ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN DU

The admissions in the UG and PG courses will be offered either through entrance exam or direct entry basis. Admissions into all medical courses will be offered through NEET entrance exams. Candidates can apply for admission in various colleges affiliated to the Delhi University. DU offers admission in 87 UG courses at its various campuses and colleges. The candidates can apply for admission in UG courses either by Delhi University Entrance exam (DUET 2019) or by Merit in the 10+2 examination. As per the newspaper reports, last year, about 3.5 lakh applicants registered for DU UG Admission

In merit based  procedure :

##Best four subject %  ( including one language subject) is required within the range of cutoff generated by the respective college

You have a good chance of making it to one of the colleges of DU. Few of the North Campus colleges are only for girls and their you stand a chance as far as North Campus is concerned. Your choice of course will also be a factor. 86.40% is good enough to secure a seat at DU.

The cutoff for the Delhi university will be announced separately for science commerce and arts branches.

The admissions will be done on the basis of the class 12 performance.

The cutoff for the du will be available on the official website of it ie., du.ac.in

As per your question i do understand your current state of mind.
Criteria to get admission in DU is to gave atleast 90 percentage.
I am sorry to say but you are not eligible to have admission in DU.
However, this dosen't conclude that there are no more  good colleges in this universe.

There are various factors that influence your chances of getting admission in Delhi university....
These factors are
1)  Your category
2)  Your Best of four aggregate
3)  The course you want to pursue.

Since you have scored 86.40% in class 12th examination,  your BFS is also likely to be in this range. If you are a general category student,  then at this BFS,  you can get admission only in B.Sc Physical Science.
