For VIT, you need to give a seperate exam called VITEEE. Admissions are done according to the merit rank in VITEEE.

For SASTRA, there is no entrance test, it all depends on the basis of JEE MAINS score and intermediate marks. The reservations are according to locality.

The eligibility criteria for both the Universities are:-

The candidate must have completed the 10+2 grade with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
