Congratulations for bringing a good rank in general category. According to the previous years cutoff there are chances of you getting into NIT's but there you have to compromise with the branch such as you can get civil engineering and that also in a lower or say Newer NITs only. You will not get any good NITs or a good branch. The same is the case with the IITs as you will not be able to get a good NIT.

But based on your ews rank you may get a NIT for sure. You can also use college predictor for a better understanding
