sir, i have biology as an optional subject not additional subgect in class 11 and 12 as per westbengal board of higher secondary education.

Hello Arka,

Actually, you have to score 50% marks in aggregate in the 12th board examination and just pass marks marks in all other individual subjects to eligible for the NEET examination & 60% marks in 12th board examination to eligible for AIIMS & JIPMER examination.

Hi there.

Yes, you can appear in all medical entrance examinations of India. I am a resident of Kolkata and many of my friends belonging to the state board who had Biology as an optional subject are studying in institutes like RG Kar Medical College and IPGMER after cracking NEET with flying colors. 

Hence, you are totally eligible to write examinations like NEET, JIPMER & AIIMS.
