Hi Ankita, As per the reservation policy, 27 % is reserved for OBC candidates that come under non creamy layer of CENTRAL LIST OF OBC....You must be knowing that there is different type of OBC list - one is Central list and Second is state list...You if you are included in Central list that too non creamy layer then fill the form under OBC - NCL ....if not then you have to apply under UR i.e. Unreserved category...You mentioned that you have all india obc certificate ..just confirm that it is noncreamy....so that you can apply under OBC - NCL

Hopefully it helps

Dear Ankita

Generally there are two types of OBC certificates- one issued by Government of India on the basis of Central OBC List which includes the OBC categories recognized at All India level by Centre aka Government of India. Another type of OBC certificate is issued by state governments on the basis of their respective state OBC lists which includes OBC categories recognized as OBC in their state.

For filling both NEET and AIIMS application form, in case you wish to mention your category as OBC, then you must ensure that you have OBC non-creamy layer certificate issued as per Central List i.e. by government of India. Also you will be required to produce OBC certificate proforma given at the end of both NEET and AIIMS MBBS prospectus, at the time of counselling.

Having said that, if you wish to apply for NEET and AIIMS MBBS on the basis of state OBC certificates, then I advice you to not do that and make sure that you have OBC non-creamy layer certificate issued by government of India.

Hope it helps!

All the best!
