The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the exam on the bi-yearly basis for those who want to make their career in Research and Lectureship field.

To appear for the exam you should have at least 55% aggregate marks if you are from General & OBC categories or if you belong to ST/SC/PwD category then you must have minimum 50% aggregate marks in post graduation.
