The selection for vertinary science is based on the entrance exam AIPVT.

So, after 12 with  physics chemistry and biology apply for AIPVT( all India pre veterinary test). The AIPVT fills 15% of seats of all colleges.

You have to stress on Biology (zoology) more than physics followed by chemistry. 

After answering these exams your scores will go to VCI( verterinary council of india) and they will call you for counselling.

Dear Vivian, in 2019, admission to BVSc courses will be done on the basis of NEET score. However there are some State Level Entrance Examinations as well that conduct admissions for colleges of that particular state. Veterinary Council of India is the regulatory authority of AIPVT which grants admissions to 449 B.V.Sc and AH seats around 41 Govt. Colleges across India. AIPVT counselling is conducted for 15% All India Quota Seats across Indian Government Dental Colleges.  The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for AIPVT based on the merit list in NEET UG. You need to register yourself to be eligible for AIPVT counselling. The admission for remaining 85% of BVSc and AH courses will be  conducted by respective state counselling authorities.
