If you are in the top 20% percentile, then you only you can get admission to any NITs/ IITs (with your score of 72% in Boards).

If you are neither in top 20% percentile of your board exam nor your % is greater than 75%, then you will not get admission to any NITs/IITs even if you get a much better rank in JEE Mains.
