Eligibility for MA in Economics is :

• B.A./B.A.(Hons.) in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
• B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. or B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.(Hons.) with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

So practically you will be eligible but you will face a lot of problem while persuing your degree and even in entrance because economics deals a lot in Mathematics and a person with non mathematics background will be unable to cope up with that.
