Well the admission through CSAB Special Round will be on the basis of category rank because the fisrst criteria for Special Round was that one should have a valid rank and should also meet up the JoSAA eligibility criteria. Now the JoSAA eligibility crtieria says that one should be JEE Main qualified, and one can be JEE Main qualified if he/she clears the cutoff as per his/her category. Below I have provided 2019 JEE Main cutoff (percentile) category wise - 

• CRL : 89.75
• GEN-EWS : 78.21
• OBC-NCL : 74.31
• SC : 54.01
• ST : 44.33
• PwD : 0.11

So if anyone has cleared the required cutoff as per their category then they are JEE Main qualified. Now if they have a valid rank then they can get a seat through CSAB Special Round.

Hello aspirant!! In CSAB special round counselling the counselling is done in which only private institutes take part, no NITs, GFTIs and IIITs take part in this.
