The simple answer to your question is: YES.
A head start to crack IIT-JEE is always helpful.
People start as early as 8-9th grade to get a good grip of things.
However, if you are confident that you can work hard, make certain sacrifices and not deviate from your goal, you will surely succeed.
Still, that cannot guarantee a 100% chance of success. Even with years of preparation , students fail to deliver in the exam hall.
I have seen my friends give up on social life and hobbies, studying day and night, and finally on the exam day, they couldn’t even clear JEE Main.
You don’t necessarily have to join a coaching institute, though it helps.
