Yes there is cutoff for the MTECH seat in IIT TOO as it varies with the caste too , in general catogery you can have of cutoff of about 800rank and for the OBC catogery you will have a cutoff of 1000rank and for SC SND ST  you will have a cutoff of about 3000rank , so hope that you will definitely get s seat in the IIT

Yeah dear definitely it is but there is not such any type of word counter Cuttoff which is used inorder to take the admission in the IITs via GATE. The cuttoff here it mean itself that there is somewhat limit or the boundation of marks for the various categories applicant's inorder to take the admission in the nits  or iits.
