If you have been allotted seat NIIT for B tech courses through JEE advanced examination then you have to pay the one year fees for taking admission in IIT although there is is a counselling process of  KCET conducted by KEA, Karnatak Examination Authority. After all if there is any time  bound process in respect of IITs then you have to pay one year fees with the schedulef date declared by the authority of IITs.
