As per my view the rank you scored can be enough to get into NITs. But it is difficult, if you are expecting a seat in a top NIT.Your preferred branch is not mentioned.So, I cannot give you an accurate answer. Make sure you keep up until the last round. If you are passionate to join NIT then you might also compromise with the branch you get. My suggestion is not to compromise with the branch in search of college.But you should make the final call.
