What matters most is whether you enjoy IT-related topics and have an interest in coding; if so, you should pursue it. In essence, BSC-IT covers topics like computer graphics, Python, C, C++, Java, etc. Yes, you will take math throughout your first two semesters, but it is manageable if you receive the right help and practice the subject often by studying regularly. To be eligible to be admitted into a BSC-IT study, you must have a total of 45 in maths subjects.

Since you have 48 marks, therefore you are eligible.
