Hi aspirant,

During TNEA counseling some seats are reserved for the candidates under the state quota, while others fall under general quota. To be eligible under State quota , candidate needs to fulfill one of these criteria:

  1. A native citizen of Tamil Nadu.
  2. Completed his/her secondary or senior secondary education from a school in Tamil Nadu.
  3. Belong to any domicile belonging to Tamil community.

As you have mentioned above about being a native, you will be eligible to apply under state quota if you wish.

Hope it helps!!
