WBJEE is a state level entrance exam which stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and  The Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, abbreviated as JGEC, is a public engineering institution established in 1961. It is situated in the Jalpaiguri, the divisional headquarters of the eight districts of North Bengal.

Since it is a government college its opening and closing rank is around 2450 and 6854 respectively.

As WBJEE is all india entrance exam but to get admitted in government college only West Bengal candidates can get admitted to government college. As per your concern regarding Jalpaiguri government engineering College (JGEC) you need to score good marks in entrance exam. WBJEE comes of 200 marks and if you want to take admission in government engineering College u need to score above 150 in WBJEE. For Jalpaiguri government engineering College (JGEC) you need to score 165-180 as its opening and closing rank ends between 2500-6000. Hope you do well in exam.
