There is no comparison between these two guys and remember one thing no one is great on the basis of marks scored in their academics . If you read the biography of any great person then you will realise this fact and if you are confused about the importance of these fields then it will depend on your choice either you want to take admission in IIT or you want to take admission on the basis of your class 12 marks so work according to your interest . And one more thing wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing that and right is right even if no one is supporting you.

I don't think that there is any greatness in scoring high marks in any exams and you cannot associate this bird with only marks because greatness cannot be measured in terms of marks of a candidate marks can decide the subject knowledge or the ability to learn memorize and reproduce in the exams.

Rohan having a board topper or JEE topper is not a simple task for that you need to be quite multi talented such that you can able to fetch more percentage. For being a board topper I think you should have the proper conceptual knowledge of about the subject class 11th and 12th but for being a JEE topper it requires the ability to answer the questions affectively which requires the preparation of about 3 - 4 years .

Actually the JEE topper is great according to me because nowadays the competition in the JEE is too high and having more value but one thing is that first to get the topper in JEE you score the 12th PCM marks also good or high because the 12th marks also having the weightage so 12th is also important
but JEE topper is great
