In order to become an astronomer you may go for Bsc in physics after 12 th standard,then you can complete your msc in physics accordingly. Also gaining work experience is a must because you should have accurate knowledge of certain areas thus physics and mathematics play an important role since you mainly use principles from these it takes total of 10 years to be perfect in your field.
