As per your requirement, i would say that as you are a fresher of bhums ug course you first try to concentrate on your subject's of your bhms course.

Get a good cgpa, have a good knowledge on your subjects and than after paasing out you can have a good hold of subjecys and do good diagnosis.

For other government jobs, you can appear various type of exams such as upsc, ssc, banking etc. When you get off time off in your college or have breaks, you can try to stydy for government competitive exams too throughout your course.
