Nativity certificate is proof that you live in this country but residence certificate is a proof for recidinding in a particular state for a specific period of time. As each state gives a benifit to their own state students it is necessary for you to provide residence certificate

Dear Anusha, No they are no need for nativity certificate to APPGECET but it needs for some time like when you have to take some advantage of the Instituted certain scheme on for the Local student then it gives some advantage that helps you but if you not have a nativity certificate then you not take any advantage.
