BSc in perfusion technology is an undergraduate course. This is a 3 year course. It includes study of physiology, pathology and etc. It prepares technologist to operate on heart - lung machines. The average starting salary is around INR 3,00,000 to 16,00,000. Their primary role is to conduct cardiopulmonary bypass using a heart-lung machine. As a minimum criteria you need to have passed 12th with PCB and English with a minimum aggregate score of 45%. Mostly perfusionist work in hospitals, surgical centres , etc.
