Your query is incomplete as you didn't mention after what type of degree.

Taking the degree as general.

For becoming a full time software developer it's better to do B.TECH. in Software Engineering.

After completing your 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the subjects and the appear for JEE mains and advance or any state level engineering entrance test.

After completion of the degree you can appear for job interviews to get a job in the specific field of study.

Or you can do some of the Online Software Development courses to get a knowledge about the subject.
